有机化学命名软件：AGCAIN

AGCAIN是一个很小的化学命名软件（只有1M多），安装完毕后，可以用软件绘出化学结构式或直接导入.mol文件，点击name，给出IUPAC命名，很方便很实用。

Molecules in four dimensions is a general and organic chemistry educational web site.For background information, see at the right; for contents, see below. Mol4D requires either Java, or the plugin to show molecular structures,

Mol4D is an initiative of the CMBI, the Centre for Molecular and Biomolecular Informatics, which is part of the Faculty of Science of the University of Nijmegen (KUN), The Netherlands.

This web site comprises two main parts. In one section, there are large set of organic chemistry tutorials, involved in subjects such as conformations of n-alkanes and stereochemistry. In another section, a molecule editor is supplied to build your own molecules, and then make your own animations of reactions. This editor also uses the Chime plug-in.

The following questions are collected to:

Provide additional practice in organic chemistry problem solving; and
Give you an idea of the style or format of questions which might be asked on typical Hardinger organic exams.

Many of these problems are drawn from past Hardinger exams. The list is intended to be illustrative, not comprehensive. That a question is or is not on this list, or a topic is not covered should not be construed to mean it will or will not be on an exam.
Give each problem serious effort before looking at the answers. Think the problem through and write down the answer just as if this was the real exam. However, don’t spend more than ten minutes on any one aspect of the problem. If you don’t have a good idea about it by then, you need to study the subject some more. Download the solutions only after you have given significant thought and written out answers to the questions below. Looking at the key before you have put in a good effort with the practice questions will reduce the learning value of your efforts.

“Briefly explain” usually means no more than 4 – 5 logical, concise sentences. Answers provided here are often longer, as they are intended to be more comprehensive than concise.

Your exam answers must stand for themselves. You cannot attempt to explain an answer after the exam is over. Therefore make sure that your answer says exactly what you want it to say. Also be sure that you have provided the exact information requested in the question.

Don’t neglect the exercises in the text or review of previous exams from earlier in this quarter!

简介：The Organic Name Reactions (ONR) section is intended to serve the professional chemist and student by describing organic chemical reactions which have come to be recognized and referred to by name within the chemistry community. A select group has been chosen for addition to this section. Each reaction description is designed to be informative and representative of the pertinent literature; however, it is not meant to be comprehensive. The descriptions are composed of the following: (1) name(s) associated with the reaction, (2) the original and/or primary contributor(s) connected with the discovery and/or development of the reaction, (3) a concise description of the transformation, (4) a reaction scheme, (5) key references, and (6) cross references to other ONR based on commonalities. The index included in this section also lists supplementary terms.
