CERNET上开通了中心网站(http://www.cnki.net),在CHINANET上开通了第二中心网站(http://www.chinajournals.com),并且在许多图书馆和情报单位建立了镜像站点。目前CNKI已建成了中国期刊全文数据库、优秀博硕士学位论文数据库、中国重要报纸全文数据库、重要会议论文全文数据库、科学文献计量评价数据库系列光盘等大型数据库产品，中国期刊全文数据库为其主要产品之一。
